How will my POLYWOOD Furniture ship?
All POLYWOOD furniture ships factory direct from Poly-Wood, Inc. That means your furniture only ships once, resulting in the lowest possible cost to you. Except where noted, all items ship flatpacked via UPS, ready for final assembly. Selective items, such as large tables and fully assembled pieces, ship via Common Carrier. Always provide us with a physical house or business address and always give us a daytime phone number. Multiple item orders may ship and arrive separately. For items shipped by Common Carrier, the freight company will contact you by telephone to arrange final delivery. Customers may have to work with the delivery driver to assist in the removal of larger items from the truck at curbside. Some trucking companies offer lift-gate services for larger deliveries, understand that this is an optional service and may involve additional charges above FREE shipping.

How long until I receive my order?
We are a Preferred Vendor of POLYWOOD® products from Poly-Wood, Inc. and no web site can get you your new POLYWOOD furniture any faster than Shop Carolina, Inc.  in addition, we participate in the POLYWOOD Quick Ship program under which Poly-Wood, Inc. commits to ship certain items in certain colors within 3 business days.  Time-to-ship does vary by item and season; please refer to information on a product's order page for details. All products are shipped from Syracuse, IN.  Once shipped, ground transit time is usually 2-5 business days. You can always reach us via email or phone for the latest update and status for your order.

Do I have to be home to receive delivery?
No.  Other than selective items noted as shipping via Common Carrier, you do not have to be home to accept delivery - so ship to a location most convenient for you!  

Where do you ship for free?
Free shipping is offered to residential and commercial destinations within the contiguous United States. Free shipping is never offered to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada or Europe. Please phone us to arrange shipping outside outside of the contiguous United States. We do regret, we cannot ship to PO and APO boxes, not because we do not support our troops, but because UPS and FedEx Ground do not deliver to APO boxes. Some of our customers from outside the USA have used BongoMyUS.com and MyAmericanShopper.com.

What about damages during shipping?
POLYWOOD furniture is rarely damaged during shipment. However if you receive a damaged item, we will work to correct your order. We may be able to provide necessary pieces and parts to correct an order or we may arrange with Poly-Wood, Inc. for items to be picked up. If you receive a damaged item and you decide you do not want us to correct your order and you also no longer wish to keep your order, you may return the item under our Return Policy and Procedure. Once inspection determines that the item was damaged during shipping, restocking fees will not be withheld from your credit.

Please inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt and if you note damages, contact us within 24 hours and we will file proper claims. UPS and Common Carriers may need to inspect damaged items and we ask that you make them available for inspection and pick-up. We may also need pictures of damaged items. If you note damages and the delivery was by Common Carrier, it is very important note the damage, even slight, on the driver's receipt at the time of delivery and to contact us within 24 hours. If the damages appear to be significant, note the damage on the driver’s receipt, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately with the details including the name of the freight company. For damages that were hidden and not noted at the time of Common Carrier delivery, you still must contact us within 24 hours for us to be able to help you.
